Improvement in electro-optical properties of Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystals

The electro-optical properties of polymer dispersedliquid crystals(PDLCs) depend on both dispersion structure and an alignment of liquid crystals/polymer mixtures and process conditions. In this study, we suggest the optimum conditions for PDLCs in order to achieve excellent electro-optical properties. Under the optimized condition, PDLC of low threshold voltage less than 3.1V, high contrast ratio more than 150 and negligible hysteresis were obtained.
