In the present investigation, calculations for solubility and dissolution behavior of liquid CO2 droplets released at 1000 m and 1500 m in the ocean depth have been carried out in order to estimate the CO2 dissolution characteristics in the ocean. The results show that the CO2 droplet is completely dissolved at 500 m below in depth, if the droplet is released at 1000 m and 1500 m with an initial diameter of 0.011 m or less and 0.016 m or less, respectively. It is also noted that the solubility of a CO2 droplet with hydrate is about 50% and 60% of a liquid CO2 without hydrate at 1500 m and 1000 m in depth, respectively.
