SMA볼트로 체결된 낮은 기하학적 형상변수 a′값을 갖는 T-stub 접합부의 에너지소산능력
초록
In general, when the geometric parameter value of ′, which influences the behavior of T-stub, is large, relatively low stiffness and strength are provided, but adequate energy dissipation capacity is exhibited due to the plastic deformation. However, in the case of a T-stub with small ′ , relatively high stiffness and strength values are provided, but the energy dissipation capacity is reduced. This study was carried out to devise methods on how to design T-stub connections with relatively high stiffness and strength as well as adequate energy dissipation capacity in small ′. By utilizing SMA bolts which have excellent shape restoration ability and superelastic capacity. The energy dissipation capacity of T-stub connections due to changes in ′ values was identified through a three-dimensional nonlinear finite element analysis. The practical applicability of SMA bolts was also examined.
