EVENODD 코드 기법을 적용한 RAID-6 시스템의 성능 비교

Recently, several error correcting coding schemes have been used in RAID systems. Reed-Solomon codes among them are popularly used in the system. However, it has high computing complexity. In this paper, we apply EVENODD coding scheme to RAID-6 system to enhance I/O performance. The experimantal result shows that the I/O performance of EVENODD codes is 32% better than that of RS codes in RAID-6 system
