Three-dimensional Numerical Study for Analyzing MVA Mode LC Cell

In this paper, we report the implementation of 3-D FEM code for numerical calculation of LC cell with protrusion structures for the first time. The electro-optical characteristics of MVA mode with protrusion were investigated in order to verify the validity of the 3-D FEM simulation.
