Kimura's disease of left elbow -A case report-

초록

Kimura's disease is a chronic inflammatory disorder showing an unusual granuloma with proliferation of lymphoid tissue. It usually involves subcutaneous tissues and lymph nodes, mostly in young oriental males. The onset is insidious. It reveals a predilection for locations on the head and neck area, most frequently infraauricular or retroauricular. On occasion, lesions have also been observed on the elbow, thigh, scalp, hand, salivary glands, oral cavity, axilla, groin, prostate, and kidney. Peripheral blood eosinophilia and elevated serum levels of immunoglobulin E are constant features. This disease has a benign course. We report a case of Kimuras disease which developed in left elbow of a 58-year-old male.
