COMBINATION OF KOMPSAT-2 IMAGES AND OTHER SATELLITE IMAGES FOR ACCURATE 3D MAPPING

초록

This research investigated the accuracy of three dimensional (3D) georeferencing for Kompsat-2 satellite stereo image combining with other different high resolution satellite stereo images by using the Rational Polynomial Coefficients (RPC) provided by the vendors. 3D georeferencing of different stereo images can be independently adjusted with ground control points by establishing rational function model (RFM) using least square adjustment. Accuracy assessment of 3D georeferencing and inverse mapping accuracy were demonstrated comparing Kompsat-2 stereo image combination with different combination of Ikonos, Quickbird stereo images with independently measured check ground control points obtained by GPS surveying. Assessment results were sufficiently accurate for 3D georeferencing of combination of different sensors based on a rational function model. This method is applicable and accurate to any photogrammetric camera.
