Design and Construction of 2-Sapn Continuous Prestressed Composite Bridges

초록

If the bridge span becomes continuous, the tensile stress will occur on the upper flange of the inner supports due to the negative moments which will not occur in the classical PCB's method. The main idea of the 2-span continuous PCB's method is the introduction of prestressed compressive stress against the corresponding tensile stress.
