비대칭 Diels-Alder Reaction에서의 금속 Chelation

초록

Diels-Alder reaction of a N-acyloyl chiral dienolhile with cyclopentadiene gave the correspounding endo R or S norbornenecarboxamide with high diastereoselectivity depending on chiral catalysts. In the reaction, 8-membered chelation was efective enough to ditinguish transoid and cisoid conformation in the presence of divalent Lewis acid catalysts, such a TiCl4.
