인트라 모드에 기반한 가중치 양자화 행렬 선택 방법 및 이를 이용한 동영상 부호화

초록

This paper presents an adaptive quantization matrix selection algorithm based on intra prediction mode and transform size in an H.264 video encoder. The proposed algorithm selects a proper weighted quantization matrix for each macroblock according to its intra prediction mode and transform size. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm provides better coding efficiency than normal H.264 encoder.
