초록

We propose an electro-optic modulator in metal-insulator-metal (MIM) plasmonic waveguides with an electro-optic polymer film sandwiched between two layers of metals. Such a waveguiding principle offers the possibility of using the same stripe as both a waveguide and a control electrode.
