문화 이식의 관점에서 본 대사관 건축의 특성에 관한 연구

초록

The study intends to examine Embassy architecture with regard to the phenomena of cultural diaspora, to investigate the strategy of escaping from governing language through "becoming animals", cited in the Kafka's literature, and to explore the design strategy exhibited in Embassy and its residence in Korea designed by Farhad Ahmadi and completed in 2003. Accordingly, this study focuses on illumination of Iranian architecture and its conceptual basis by featuring the embassy building's programs both in general and particular than emphasizes the tradition of Iranian architecture and Persia or their cultural values. In particular, the study attempts to find interpretations of another dimension about creation of tradition and cultural values by architecture in an architect's view derived from an unscientific and obscure cultural origin rather than in some programmatic view of creative routes of design.
