초록

There are various installation methods for offshore pipelines. The laybarge installation is most commonly used for normal condition. However, depending on the site area limitation, capacity of barge, pipe size, environmental conditions, cost, etc. various other methods can be applied in the installation of offshore pipeline. The known methods are S-lay, J-lay, bottom tow, bottom pulling, surface tow, surface pulling, HDD method, reel barge method, barge pulling etc. For the bundled pipelines, more than two pipelins, it limits the application method. There are many considering factors and technical implications for the bundle pipeline installation. This paper introduces the technical considerations to apply the bottom pull method for offshore bundle pipeline installation.
