초록

This paper describes the experimental results obtained from an actively Q-switched erbium-doped fiber (EDF) laser with an EDF as a saturable absorber under external optical pumping. Relaxation-oscillation suppressed and jitter-reduced Q-switched laser pulses were obtained with this optically controlled saturable absorber method.
