A New MPPT Control by Changing the DC-link Voltage In A Grid Connected Inverter-based Wind Power Generation System

초록

This paper proposes a new simple maximum power point tracking control in a grid connected inverter-based wind power generation system(WPGS). The inverter-based WPGS needs only an inverter to control the whole system. The proposed method is implemented by controlling the DC-link voltage to track the maximum power without both the wind speed sensor and the turbine rotor speed sensor. With the method of controlling the DC-link voltage, the generated power is carried to the grid by unity power factor. Simulation results verifying the method are presented.
