초록
An efficient method for chiral addition of TMSCN to aldehydes by employing Mn(salen) alone as the catalyst has been described. A variety of aromatic, aliphatic, cyclic and heterocyclic aldehydes have been converted into their corresponding trimethylsilyl ethers in excellent yield .
