This study is focused on the test method that used for evaluating the long-term performance of the various type of geogrid. The tests were performed about two kinds of geogrid (woven type geogrid and integral type geogrid). The nominal tensile strength of geogrids, in machine direction are 8 ton/m, 10 ton/m for each geogrids were used. Estimated long-term creep deformation indicate that the 60~65% of Tult loading level are the optimum values that satisfying the creep criteria (curve becomes asymptotic to a constant strain line, of 10% or less) in the case of woven geogrid. And these values indicate that the woven geogrid has strong resistance to the long-term deformation compared with the integral geogrid. Creep data interpretation is performed by using performance limit strain and isochoronous curve. From this procedure we can obtain more accurate creep reduction factor at the aim design life.
