고출력 작동에서 물/기체 전달특성이 향상된 MWCNT/PTFE복합재 기반 PEMFC용 기체확산층
초록
The gas diffusion layer (GDL) is an essential component of PEMFC. GDL is not only transferred hydrogen/oxygen as fuel but also serves as a passage to discharge water. At high power, water flooding occurs in which the pores within the gas diffusion layer are blocked by water, which causes the gas not to be supplied smoothly, drastically reducing the performance of the fuel cell. In this work, a gas diffusion layer is produced by perforating the MWCNT/PTFE composite film using a laser to enhance water/gas transport. The composite film-based GDL has excellent mechanical stability and flexibility. The surface of laser-treated pores has hydrophilic properties and is used as a water discharge path. As a result, the power generation was improved in the high-power region compared to the commercial GDL, and ultimately the maximum power increased. This technology can be applied to fuel cell technology applied to the transportation field that requires instantaneous high power.
