초록

In this paper, we investigate the effect of unreliable wireless backhaul links on the outage performance for cognitive full-duplex relay (FDR) networks with best user selection over frequency-selective fading channels. Due to FDR operation, the primary user (PU) is interfered by the selected small-cell transmitter and FDR node simultaneously. Subject to the allowed interference level at the PU, the new analytical outage probability is derived for the cognitive FDR network in terms of the residual self-interference, multiuser scheduling, channel statistics, and wireless backhaul reliability. It is shown that asymptotic outage probability achieved by cognitive FDR network is exclusively determined by multiuser scheduling and wireless backhaul reliability. By employing multiuser scheduling, cognitive FDR network achieves the allowable smallest outage probability with alleviated burden for self-interference cancellation, while its achieved outage capacity doubles that of the cognitive half-duplex relay network in the small and middle interference-to-noise ratio regions. The outage performance of the considered system is verified by simulations and compared to that of cognitive half-duplex relay networks.
