Safety Assessment for Green Oil Pier Management

Recently, at oil pier of GS Caltex Co. in Yeosu, Korea, unprecedented collision accident did happened by man-made disaster. For this accident, a part of oil pipeline and hull did damaged, it is arisen that damaged environmental pollution and tremendous loss. This study suggest development of green oil pier management system that is possible to monitoring in real time, to predict danger of accident and an immediate response. As monitoring system managing safety of ships, facilities and people, this system is applied Predict Collision Algorithm and SMS Alarm Generation. As a result, this system upgrade safety of oil pier facilities and will be also possible to utilize protection of environment.
