Digital transformation implementation and operational performance

The business environment has been volatile and unpredictable in the present context due to high competition, demand, and technologies. New digital technologies such as big data, 3D printing, the Internet of Things, 5G, and Blockchain have given rise to digital transformation. Companies have implemented or are in the process of implementing digital transformation(DX) to achieve competitive advantages. This study is to examine the effect of organizational and individual capabilities on digital transformation (DX) implementation and operational performance and identify the key enablers of digital transformation for small and mediumsized enterprises (SMEs) in Nepal. In addition, this paper explores the effect of DX implementation on organizational performance. Through this research, we will be able to understand the DX trend in Nepalese firms and figure out the effect of individual and organizational capabilities on DX and operational performance.
