초록

A new preparation method of the ferrite powder using the ultrasonic wave was developed in order to improve reactivity of the redox reaction. The local temperature rises to several thousand Kelvin for a short time due to cavitation when an ultrasonic wave passes through a liquid. Than, it makes possible to prepare nano-size ferrite powder through irradition of the ultrasonic wave. In this study, a particle size of the ferrite powders prepared by irradiation of the ultrasonic wave for 6 h was under 20nm. In the redox reacrion with the ferrite powder prepared by the ultrasonic irradiation. the ferrite powder prepared by the ultrasonic irradiation was more excellent than the ferrite powder prepared by a general heat treatment. The ferrite powder prepared by the ultrasonic irradiation decomposed CO2 about 16wt%. The nano-size ferrite powder improved redox reaction is developed through irradiation of the ultrasonic wave at low temperature.
