CK20 MRNA AND CEA MRNA EXPRESSIONS RELATED TO BONE MARROW MICROMETASTASIS IN GASTRIC CANCER

Background: We evaluate correlation of cytokeratin 20 in bone marrow aspirates and clinicopathological characteristics of gastric cancer patients using RT-PCR technique, and compare the results of RT-PCR for CK20 with that of CEA in bone marrow aspirates, and to evaluate correlation of the results of the above and microvessel density in tumors.
