도서관에서의 조망성과 피난처성 개념 연구

초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze how to concept of "prospect-refuge" works as concentrative reading and relaxation in the space of library in psychological aspects. The concept of "prospect-refuge" is explained in the case studies of Phillips Exeter Academy, Central library of Delft technical University and law library of University of Michigan as follows ; 1) Non-materiality through indirect lighting and tangibility based on constructiblity shows "prospect-refuge" in relation of individualism and commonality in Phillips Exeter Academy. 2) Central library of Delft technical University also shows the concept of "prospect-refuge" in the double layered space with the insertion of heterogeneous objects. 3) Being located underground and V shape sunken spaces connected make possible of "prospect-refuge" in law library of University of Michigan.
