초록
Kimura's disease is a chronic inflammatory disorder showing an unusual granuloma with proliferation of lymphoid tissue. It usually involves subcutaneous tissues and lymph nodes, mostly in young oriental males. The onset is insidious. It reveals a rpedilection for locations on the head and neck area, most frequently infraauricular or retroauricular. On occasion, lesion have also been observed on the elbow, thigh, scalp, hand, salivary glands, oral cavity, axilla, groin prostate, and kidney. Oeripheral blood eosinophilia and elevated serum levels of immunoglobulin E are constant features. This disease has a benign course. We report a case of kimuras disease which developed in left elbow of a 58-year-old male.
