초록

Synovial sarcoma (SS) is a clinicopathologically distinct and cytogenetically defined sarcoma, mostly affecting adolescents and young adults and has a prdilection for the extremities. The presence of poorly differentiated areas is a strong prognostic factor associated with local recurrence, metastases and tumor-related death in patients with SS.
