Simultaneous strain sensing and heating characteristics of multi-walled carbon nanotubes/rubber composites for steel infrastructures
초록
A smart composite material to detect deformation and to do heating can be needed to prevent derailment accidents occurring by contraction of railway in winter. As smart material, conductive polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) composites with MWCNTs in good dispersion were prepared by mass-scalable three roll milling (TRM), and their sensing capability and heating performance were investigated.
