Free Vibration Analysis and Optimization of Sandwich Plate wiht Aluminum Honeycomb Core

초록

Aluminum honeycomb core sandwich(AHCS) structures are known to have not only a high flexural rigidity and strength with a relatively low density ratio but also excellence in anti-vibration and anti-noise properties. Free-flexural vibration test of AHCS plate and structure was performed prior to optimization of stiffened plate. Optimizations of stiffened plates with mild steel and aluminum alloy and grillage wrer performed to compare vibration characteristics effectively. We performed experiment for optimum stiffened plates, Also, optimization of AHCS plates was performed. This paper shows that AHCS plate is stiffer than any other plate. This result demonstrates the superiority of AHCS plate. In other words, AHCS structures can satisfy weight saving which is the most important area of high-speed vessel design
