초록

The authors recently proposed a heat recovery boiler with water spray (HR-B/WS), where water was sprayed onto the inlet airstream and/or reaction zone. We also introduced a chain-block structure analysis method to determine thermal efficiency and provide information regarding capacity design specifications for each system component (see Part. of the paper). Although we showed that HR-B/WSs produced excellent thermal efficiency and NOX emission, principal parameter effects on system performances and optimized operating conditions were not sufficiently well determined to allow effective system control and design. Therefore, the present study performed parametric analyses for each parameter's performance to derive design specifications for the HR-B/WS system components. This information is essential to design laboratory and pilot scale research systems to confirm industrial boiler (under development) performances.
