초록
This paper investigates numerically the effects of temperature change on the variation of natural frequencies of a bridge. Three parameters were considered in the analysis; (a) initial thermal stresses, (b) variations in the elastic modulus of the materials, and (c) structural deformation due to temperature change. Results from different combinations of the three parameters are compared through simulation studies on a bridge. The proposed analytical methodology is examined through applications to field data measured from two different types of bridges.
