Clinical cases of Hormone refractory prostate cancer

초록

58 year-old gentleman presented with high PSA. His PSA was 6.6 ng/ml. But he did not complain of lower urinary track symptom and he did not have diabetics, hypertension, and family history of prostate cancer. Digital rectal exam showed the prostate was measured by 25 gm and there was palpable nodule on Rt lobe of prostate. Transrectal prostate biopsy was performed. Pathology report revealed prostate adenocarcinoma, Gleason score 7 4+3, at Rt side of prostate. In the imaging study, prostate MR showed no enlarged lymph node and lesion was confined to the prostate. Bone scan also did not show evidence of bone metastasis. Now, what would your next step be in treating this patient, 58 year-old, cT2N0, GS 7 ?
