초록

In this research, the effect of the gravel content on the liquefaction behavior of the Ko-anisotropically consolidated specimens are investigated. The cyclic triaxial tests for Ko-anisotropically consolidated specimens at same relative density(Dr=40%), of which gravel content are 0%, 20%, 40%, 50%, and 60%, were performed. The behavior of pore water pressure and axial strain for the Ko-anisotropically consolidated gravel-sand mixtures represents almost the same cyclic behaviors of the sand with no stress reversal even some stress reversal of the cyclic loading. Even the stress reversal of about 10% of cyclic stress amplitude, the permanent strain with small cyclic strain increase rapidly with the number of cycles and the initial liquefaction is not occurred always with maximum pore water pressure ratio below 1.0. The liquefaction resistance for 5% of strain increases with the gravel content between 0% and 40%, but tends to decrease beyond the 40% of gravel content.
