초록
A fully lamellar Ti-(43.5~47)mol%Al-(1.6~1.7)mol%Mn polycrystals added with (0~2)vol% TiB2 particulates were fabricated via reactive sintering under Vacuum Hot Pressing. Microstructural observation revealed that lamellar grain is refined by the addition of TiB2 particulates and lamellar spacing tends to increase with increasing Al content and, in some case, with increasing TiB2 content. From the result of tensile tests at room temperature, it was found that the elongation is improved with an increase in lamellar spacing under fine-grained condition. A distinct inverse relationship between ductility/strength and lamellar spacing was also found under fine-grained condition.
