초록

Pulmonary function tests (PFT) are used to measure of respiratory function for obstructive and restrictive lung diesease, including the chronic obstructive pulmonary diesease (COPD) acquired by patients with cystic fibrosis (CF). The life expectancy of patients with CF is increasing with improvements in the treatment of CF associated COPD. As the age for the world's CF population is growing, a statistical analysis of our center's 40 year history of PFT, age 3 to 68 has produced some new thoughts about interpretation that may be helpful.
