초록
A series active power filter is used to compensate and improve the reactive power, harmmonic, and neutral line current in three-phase four-wire power systems. As the control method, the direct compensating voltage extraction method is used. The advantages of this control method are the direct extraction of compensation voltage references without the transformation of coordinates and the multiplying the gain of active power filter. Therefore, the calculation of the compensation voltage reference is simpler than other control methods. The compensation principle of the proposed control method is presented in this paper. Experimental results show that the series active power filter based on this method gives satisfactory operation.
