초록

The purposed of this study is to investigate the effect of brazing temperature, brazing holding time on joining strength in order to estimate the of Al6061/Al6061 alloy with Ag-Cu insert metal under the vacuum condition. Examinations of bonding strength, frature features as well as the joint interface were carried out by using OM,SEM,EPMA andtensile testing Consequently, the melting point of insert metal tends to be decreased during diffision brazing. It was found that each element, which is Ag, Cu in the insert metal and Al,Si,Mg in the base metal, inter-diffused each other. As a result, melting point is decreased due to eutectic reaction between based metal and filler metal elements. A bonding strength of about 290MPa was obtained for Al6061 joints, which diffusion brazed at 560℃ for 30min and then performed T6 heat treatment. It is almost equivalent to tensile strength of the base metal.
