A Study of production progress analysis for PE-block assembly using the Canny Edge Detection algorithm
초록
In the shipbuilding industry, ships are constructed in units of blocks made through a series of processes from steel warehousing to machining, assembly, and launching. During the ship's assembly process, the Block Mounting is a process in which the hull is built by welding large blocks completed after leading processes such as machining, sub-assembly, unit-assembly, and grand-assembly, with each block's shape and size change as it progresses. In this work, we aim to determine the progress of the mounting process by ICP(Iterative Closest Point) the video image data acquired in the mounting process with the CAD data in the target block. We proceeded appropriate ICP with the multiple angles data not a live picture. To recognize the block geometry of the acquired image information, we apply the Canny Edge Detection (CED) algorithm to extract the block extant line (Edge) on the image. Progress is calculated based on the convergence rate after ICP and convolution of extracted Edge information.
