A Mechanistic Study on β-Elimination of 7-oxabicycloheptanes

초록

The trisubstiteted cyclohexanes are prepared from Diels-Alder reaction followed by β-elimination. The choice of the base for β-elimination is critical and depends on the vicinal groups of the position of forming carbainion.
