초록
This article briefly summarizes the recent state of art of EPM technology of TiAl-Mn-Mo intermetallic compound. It is stated that the EPM approach is advantageous over IM due to fine grain size and low segregation. The mechanical properties of the alloy compound, however, are sensitively dependent upon processing conditions, such as the characteristics of powders, hot extrusion and heat treatments. Experimental alloys with a fine grain size and minimal porosity could be obtained by reducing secondary phase such as TiAl3 harmful to the full density.
