A Study on Wave Attenuation performance according to the Width-Draft ratio of a Rectangular Floating Breakwater

초록

In this study, the influence of the width - draft ratio of floating breakwater with rectangular cross section on the wave attenuation performance was examined in the previous study for the design of cross - sectional shape of floating breakwater. Through the roll motion free decay test, three cross sectional shapes were determined according to the period of the incident wave. The wave attenuation performance according to width - draft ratio was confirmed by numerical simulation. The possibility of designing a cross section shape with a low transmission coefficient at the target incident wave length was confirmed.
