초록

We have synthesized dendronized poly(p-phenylenevinylene)(PPV) via Heck reaction. The substituted dendrons are fully conjugated and have triazine moiety as electron transporting unit due to their good electron affinity. We observed from UV-Vis and Photoluminescence spectra energy transfer occurs in dendronized PPV from dendritic wedges to focal PPV chains. the bulky and rigid conjugated dendrons play an important role as light-harvesting antennae and in preventing the formation of aggregates between PPV main chains.
