정밀지역항법(P-RNAV) 도입으로 인한 항공기 운항지연감소 효과에 대한 연구
초록
The purpose of this paper focuses on the comparison and analysis for the aircraft approach time differences between the conventional radar controlled navigation system and the Required Navigation(RNAV) system within approach airspace at Seoul Incheon International Airport in Korea. For comparison and analysis, real time survey had carried out on specific approach airspace in Seoul approach control area in November 2004. The numbers of valid investigation were totally 128 aircraft operations. 58 aircraft operations had approached by the radar controlled navigation system and 70 aircraft operations approached by the Precision Area Navigation system. According to this survey, average aircraft delay can be reduced to 60 seconds every flight so that we can be estimated a total delay time up to 5 hours 57 minutes if P-RNAV system would apply to all in and out aircraft within the entire Seoul approach control area in 2003.This significant benefit from introducing the Area Navigation system can maximize the guarantee of aircraft operational safety as well as improvement of airspace capacity.
