Implementation of a Prototype System for surface EMG Analysis based on Gait Phases
초록
The surface Electromyographic (sEMG) signal of lower limb is used as a major source for locomotion mode recognition, gait pattern recognition, and analysis of Parkinson's disease. For these applications, sEMG signals need to be analyzed in each gait phase such as stance and swing phase. We construct a protype system for analysis based on gait phases. The proposed system is implemented on the Biopac's MP150CW system. sEMG signals are recorded by the Biopac's BN-EMG2. Knee's angle and foot's force used for detecting gait phases are recorded by mechanical module which made by us. The mechanical module consists of flex sensor, force sensors, and wireless transmiter. For synchronous recording with sEMG signals, acquired data by mechanical module is recorded through Biopac's UIM100C. The implemented prototype system can be used for sEMG analysis application which requires mechanical data for detecting gait phase.
