초록

Graphene, a two-dimensional carbonaceous material, has garnered a lot of interest in the scientific world owing to its outstanding electrical, optoelectronic, and mechanical properties. A wide range of functional nanomaterials can be combined to form graphene-based inorganic nanocomposites for numerous applications. For application in solar cells, there are several advantages to incorporating graphene-metal oxide composites as components. Graphene accelerates charge carriers and reduces the charge recombination in solar cells. In this chapter, we present recent developments, and the impact of composites on morphology, and electrical and optical properties in solar cells. Furthermore, we cover, in detail, the overall aspects and prospects regarding the photovoltaic performance and stability of solar cells with incorporated graphene metal oxides. © The Royal Society of Chemistry 2025.
