Forming Information System applicable for Continuous division forming by die-less multiple punches

초록

Mechanical bending processes such as continuous division press forming, it have been required to calculate the accurate solution, because it is expected to accurately control the desired shape. In this problem spring back is one of the major problems of the mechanical bending. When the pressing tools are removed after the loading stage, the workpiece springs back due to the elastic recovery. The shape deviation is needed to be compensated. We have been research this problem. In this sturdy, in order to make more accurate forming displacement, several algorithm are added. Such as, calculation of contact point compensation and continuous division forming. Then, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of thick metal forming and an displacement adjustment algorithm are integrated for the practical usages.
