Reliability classification for performance-based design code

초록

In this paper reliability classification for the performance of concrete structures are proposed for a performance-based design code under development by KCI. The required performance of the concrete structure is defined to select among three levels of safety which are based mainly on the reliability index or probability of failure. Numerical examples are presented for calibrating the partial safety factors by reliability analysis both for the building and the bridge.
