A Development of Continuous Process for the Hydrolysis of Metal Alkoxide

A continuous process for the hydrolysis of metal alkoxide was newly developed to prepare the mono dispersed hydrates. It is precisely designed to mix two solutions more homogeneously using the mixer with ultrasonic vibrator after mixing statically and dynamically. In this process, it was the most important to mix two solutions homogeneously and to form fine particles in a long and narrrow tube for the grain growth.The desired particles could be synthesized with a good reliability and reproducibilty by hydrolyzing alkoxide of Ti.
