PTO를 고려한 반구형 파력 발전기 해석

초록

Point absorber is a general kind of wave energy converter due to simple shape and system. Thus, many researcher and scientist have been developing and proposing the point absorber system. Especially, Power take-off (PTO)) system is a critical part of whole mechanism of wave energy converter system because PTO is directly related to efficiency of wave energy converter. Therefore, PTO modelling is critical to predict the energy efficiency. In this study, hydraulic system is used to model for PTO system and is expressed as coulomb damping force. Although PTO is generally modeled as linear damping force, hydraulic system should be expressed as a type of coulomb damping force. To include PTO system effect, a time-domain hydrodynamics program is employed based on Cummins equation. Various hydraulic pressures and wave frequencies are applied for optimum condition of PTO system to generate maximum wave power.
