Objective: To know whether HPV Oligonucleotide Microarray can detect the HPV DNA in the urine and if it can to make it clear whether it is useful to detect cervical neoplasia Methods : The authors had done urine HPVDNAChip tests, cervical smears, cervix HPVDNACHIP and hiopsies to those who were admitted to our clinic during 1st of April to 30th of sep in 2003 for undergoing gynecologic poerations. Those who had cervical neoplasia were sorted into case group, and those who had not into control group Conclusion: Using HPVDNAChip, we verified that among those who had cervical neoplasia and were admitted to be treated 50.9%of patients had been detected to have HPV DNA in their urine And HPV 16 subtype was the most common type in the urine(65.5%). We might tell that we can use urine HPVDNAChip test an an auxiliary tool to detect cervical neoplasm, especially for those who could not or do not want to undergo cervical smear or biopsy.
