CO2 Laser Cladding of Engine Valve Seat

초록

An experimental method to improve the mechanical properties of the engine valve seat with CO2 laser cladding is performed and discussed. This experiment uses an engine block material as a substrate and the powder mixture for engine valve seat part. This method can prevent the conventional problems like the cracking of engine valve seat and leakage of gas by its crash.
